The Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery refers to the lithium-ion battery with LiFePo4 as the positive electrode material. The anode materials of lithium-ion batteries mainly include lithium cobaltate, lithium manganate, lithium nickelate, ternary materials, lithium iron phosphate, and so on, among which lithium cobaltate is the anode material used in the vast majority of lithium-ion batteries. In terms of material principle, lithium phosphate also contains an embedding and de-embedding process, the same as lithium cobalt and lithium manganese. 

Lifepo4 Battery 25.6V can be used as a direct replacement for AGM battery, Vrla battery, GEL battery, or EFB battery. The 25.6-volt lifepo4 battery is ideal for electric scooters, wheelchairs, motorcycle starters, DC power, medical devices, LED light sources, solar power, or any other devices that use the SLA battery.

3 Technical performance

3.1 Function

(1) Energy storage, long cycle life, and high reliability.

(2) Automatic protection and respond quickly. high-precision data sampling with complete and reliable protection functions:

◇Battery pack over-voltage/under-voltage protection, Battery cell over-voltage / under-voltage protection

◇ Charge & Discharge over-current protection

◇ Charge & Discharge over-temperature protection

◇ Short-circuit protection

 (3) Protection reset mode. When the battery pack or cell is under overcharge protection, the voltage is restored to the overcharge reset voltage value and is then charged and reset.

(4) Battery balancing function. Balance control based on the voltage of each cell, energy transfer balancing method.

5 Factory Reserved Capacity

In addition to the customer’s special requirements, the battery pack capacity is within 40% to 75% range before packing.

6 Storage

(1) 1 week: the storage environment temperature of -20℃~50℃, relative humidity 45% to 85%

(2) 1 month: storage environment temperature -20℃~45℃, relative humidity 45% to 85%;

(3) 6 months: the storage environment temperature is -20°C~40°C and the relative humidity is 45% to 85%;

The battery pack is usually stored at 40%-50% capacity in a clean, dry, and ventilated room with an ambient temperature of -5°C to 35°C and a relative humidity of no more than 75%. The battery pack should avoid contact with corrosive substances and be kept away from fire and heat. The battery pack should be recharged every 6 months from the date of manufacturing, and the temperature range is 25 ℃ ± 5 ℃.

7 Operation

The battery can only be used under the following conditions, otherwise, it will reduce the performance of the battery or shorten the cycle life of the battery. Use batteries outside this temperature may cause overheating, explosion or fire

(1) Charging: 0 ℃ ~ 45 ℃, relative humidity 45%to 85%;

(2) Discharge: -10 ℃ ~ 55 ℃, relative humidity 45%~ 85%;

(3) The average daily relative humidity is not greater than 80%, and the average monthly relative humidity of the month is not more than 80%

(4) There is no strong vibration and impact on the installation location, no strong electromagnetic interference, and the external magnetic field induction strength must not exceed 0.5mT;

(5) The installation of vertical tilt does not exceed 5%;

(6) There must be no explosion-dangerous media in the use location. The surrounding media does not contain corrosive metals and harmful gases and conductive mediums that destroy insulation.

8 Warranty 

The warranty of the battery is 2 years after the factory. We promise that if the quality problem is caused by the battery itself within 2 years, we will be responsible for replacement.

9 Notice

Read the following precautions carefully to ensure the correct use of lithium-ion batteries. Our company is not responsible for any problems that violate the following precautions

9.1 Prohibitions

Failure to read the following matters carefully may cause battery leakage, explosion, or fire

(1) Do not put the battery into the water or wet it;

(2) Do not use or store batteries near the heat source (such as fire or heater);

(3) Do not short-circuit the positive and negative terminals;

(4) Do not connect the battery directly to the wall socket or cigarette socket;

(5) Do not put the battery into the fire or heat the battery;

(6) It is forbidden to use wires or other metal objects to short-circuit the battery’s positive and negative poles, and prohibit the battery from transporting or storage with necklaces, hair clips or other metal objects;

(7) It is forbidden to impact, throw, or make the battery shake mechanically;

(8) It is forbidden to pierce the battery shell with nails or other sharp objects, and prohibit hammer or foot battery;

(9) It is forbidden to decompose or disassemble the battery in any way;

(10) It is forbidden to charge the battery under the source of fire or extremely heat.

9.2 Warnings

Please read the following matters carefully may cause battery leakage, explosion, or fire;

  • Use chargers for lithium iron phosphate batteries for charging, with a maximum voltage of 6V
  • It is forbidden to use a combination of batteries (such as dry batteries) or different capacities, models, and a variety of batteries.
  • Do not use the battery if it emits a strange smell, is hot, deforms, discolors, or has any other abnormality. if the battery is being used or charged, it should be immediately taken from an electrical appliance or charging equipment and stopped using it.
  • The battery should be placed where the child cannot contact.
  • If the battery leaks or produces an odor, it should be immediately removed from the open fire; the leaky electrolyte may cause fire or explosion.
  • If the electrolyte enters the eyes after the battery leaks, do not rub it, apply water to rinse, and immediately seek medical assistance. If you do not deal with it in time, your eyes will be harmed.

9.3 Others

Please use a lithium battery pack strictly in accordance with the instructions. If the battery leaks, the electrolyte is used to get the skin or clothes, and the flowing water is washed with the flowing area immediately, otherwise it may cause skin inflammation.

Read the installation manual of the battery, and correct the battery installation.

If the terminal of the battery group becomes dirty, wipe it with a dry cloth before use. Otherwise, the battery pack will be poorly exposed, causing energy loss or unable to charge.
